Witchfire Farm Yarn

Our First Batch of yarn from our very own flock of natural colored merinos is here!

We have been saving the fleeces from our sheep for the past couple of years and designed a yarn that is absolutely stunning for you!

This yarn is between a DK and sport weight, coming in at about 270 yards per 100g.  We chose to have our yarn made as a 3-ply to give you amazing stitch definition.  Our sheep fall into three different color families: Grey, Sandy Brown, and Silver Cream.  They are all really soft merinos - coming in between an 18 and 22 micron count.  This yarn is next to skin soft (personally I think it's the softest yarn we've ever offered).  Because our sheep have not worn jackets the past couple of years, you will find a little bit of hay here and there (to DO love to leave snacks on each others backs for later).  I found it was really easy to pick out as I was knitting with it  though!
